About
Software for the person actually holding the haynet
LiveryYardPro is made by Steony Ltd, who build a small family of apps for people who look after other people's animals for a living.
Where it came from
The same problem turns up on every yard: the information that matters is real, it is just scattered. The dust allergy is known by the two people who were there the day it was discovered. The box-rest walking schedule is on the feed board. Whether the grey has been fed is answered by walking out to the stable and looking.
None of that is a failure of organisation. It is what happens when the tools available are a whiteboard, a group chat and whoever is on that morning. LiveryYardPro is an attempt to give a yard one shared place for it that is faster to use than the whiteboard was.
What we build to
- A blank beats an invented number. The app will not tell you a horse covered six kilometres schooling in an arena, because a phone cannot measure that. It gives no distance instead, and says why.
- Locked is never shown as empty. Where an owner has not shared something, you are told that. “No allergies recorded” and “you were not given allergies” are not the same sentence, and only one of them is safe to act on.
- Stale data admits it. When the app has not reached the server it shows you when it last did, rather than presenting yesterday's list as today's.
- Owners grant; yards receive. A yard cannot add somebody's horse to itself. The connection is always the owner's decision.
What we will not put on this website
There are no customer counts, star ratings or testimonials on this site, because LiveryYardPro has not launched and any of those would be made up. There is no price on the pricing page, because the price is not set. Every feature described on the features page is one you can use today, and the planned ones are in their own section marked as planned.
When there are real yards using it and real things they are willing to say, we will put those up with their names on.
The rest of the family
Steony Ltd also builds CorePaw for pet owners, CorePaw Pro for dog walkers and pet-care businesses, and Hoofiness for horse owners. LiveryYardPro is the yard's side of the same connection Hoofiness gives the owner: when a livery shares their horse with your yard, the two apps are talking to each other.
Ready to get the yard off the whiteboard?
LiveryYardPro is in development. Put your yard on the early-access list and we will let you know the day it is on the App Store and Google Play.
